Who we are

This website is operated by CYBERNCS (AUST) PTY LTD (ABN 93 686 328 665), trading as CyberOM and part of the Cyber NCS Group. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What personal information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us and the limited technical data needed to run this website. That includes your name, business email address, phone number, company name and the content of the message you send through our contact or domain-check forms.

When you use our free domain exposure check, we also process the domain name you submit and publicly available DNS records for it. We do not perform active scanning of your systems.

Our web server and analytics may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you view.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide the report or consultation you asked for, deliver and support our services, meet our legal and contractual obligations, and improve the security and usability of this website. We do not sell your personal information.

Disclosure

We may share your information with other companies in the Cyber NCS Group and with trusted service providers who help us operate our business (for example, hosting, email delivery and CRM providers), and where required or authorised by law. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

Security and retention

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law, and then destroy or de-identify it.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are able to do so. You may also complain if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles.
